Found a car on Craigslist. It was a real good deal that was too good to be true. They wanted us to buy it through Ebay Motors but to send a $500 gift card to Ebay motors.

Customer is selling a 2002 Bobcat for $1500. Says her father passed away a month ago and has no need for it. Advised that she will have it shipped at her expense and we have 5 days to inspect the equipment. If we are not satisfied we can have it shipped back to her at her expense. The next day an email is received that her neighbors told her she is nuts to send it just like that without payment first. She goes on to say that she has set up an account with e-bay for the protection of both parties. "E-bay" sent me an email confirming information that she has set up an account to protect my money and goes on to explain upon 5 days of inspection the money will be released once I approve the purchase. The e-bay account says to purchase a gift card if it is more than $500.00 Ebay does not use gift cards only paypal and valid credit card.
