I was contacted by Lucas an employee of the American Student Loan Services (ASLS). Lucas told me about the student debt forgiveness program and I might qualify for the program due to being laid off from Covid-19. He was able to gain access to my Federal Student loans and give me the totaled student debt I owe. He told me he works with the FSL and his company helps students to lower their payment and they are qualified to offer the debt forgiveness program. He put me on hold to "talk to his manager" he rattled off my numbers and told me I would be able to receive the debt forgiveness. I would be able to pay off my student low for the low cost of $298.00 for 3 months $894 total, My credit score would look better in 3 months because the loan was paid off.

As I normally do I did question all of his selling points and the company and the "To Good To Be True" scenario. I told him I needed to confirm with my spouse and get back to him the next day. Well, then he pulled out all the stops.. He said the program was only being offered until midnight. I continued to tell him I need the time, but...at the end of the day I fell into his and the this companies scam. They have my SS #, address, DOB, full name, bank account. I never felt so stupid and violented.

I write this because I want to warn you if you are struggling due to covid and fall prey of these types of scammers, please please check out the companies 1st. If they are pushing you and there is a time frame It is a scam most likely. Looks "To Good to Be True" it is. Thankfully I caught on once I called the Federal Student Loan customer service to see why my student loan had shown paid off. I put my account and social security on hold, reported them to the https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/. Contacted my local police and my bank. This companies has many address, offices around the USA and they use many bank account numbers, many telephone #'s. If you try to call them back you will not get through, it rings with music and then goes into a busy signal.

On 3/22/2021, I was contacted by this fake agency to help me get into the Federal Student Loan Forgiveness Program. It sounds very convincing and provided them with all my personal, and bank information. on 3/22/2021, 3/29/2021, 4/5/2021, 4/19/2021, and 5/3/2021 they draft my bank account by the same amount of $149. Thus, a total of $745 was debited from my account. I called, email them several times, but never received any feedback nor response. I went to my bank, and the bank could not track them down. My checking account for over 20 years has to be closed for a new account. I had to redo everything, such as payroll direct deposit, automatic payment of my creditors, monthly automatic payments, to name a few. This is a SCAM company and should be shut down or investigated by the Federal or fraud prevention agencies around the country.

Please, anyone, help me to get my money back.
