Received vague text message...
"Dear A. Our office has been issued a request to send a closing report to WELLS FARGO BANK due to multiple returned payments in violation with your customer agreement. If this was sent in error please call 866-640-0029. Text STOP to opt out."

When I return the call to the number provided I then heard music first and then someone got on the line and told me that they needed to connect me to a paralegal regarding the matter. When put on hold music came back again sat for a little bit waiting on hold and then call was dropped. Someone by the name of Kelly return to call stating that we had somehow got disconnected and then left the return call number of 855-223-3714. When I called the number I immediately received music while waiting for someone to pick up the line. I hung up and noted that my caller ID on my phone showed in red the number as Suspecteted Spam Call Detected!

Called about a bill I owed from a man named ER. Phone number 855-XXX-XXXX. They was going to put a lien on my home. So I agreed to pay them.

In Sept of 2023 it started with a payment of $309.10 up until January of 2024. Then February of 2024 I Paid 257.00.

Just heard from someone about a scam like this to come on ScamPulse.com and see this company is the same company that scammed me.

someone named Whitney called and left a voicemail. but when I called back I was not able to speak with her they stated I needed to speak with a paralegal whose name is ER. He explained that the call was for a loan but could not tell me from what year. Also when a debt collector calls they usually verify birthday and social no one verified that information with me. Also stated that they would seize all my property and gave me the tag numbers on both of my cars. But he had the incorrect address for me as well. stated that I would need to make a payment of 2882.00 in two days or set up a payment. arrangement for 5500.00 with a down payment of 350 dollars. Advised that I would call back did a Google search and was able to find others who have been getting the same calls but from someone named ML, the website that I found gives a different contact number which is 1(866) XXX-XXXX. When you call both numbers it does not ring music instantly plays but does not say anything about the business or contact information like usual businesses. When someone answered she stated that she was Whitney and she could help me. I asked to speak with E she placed me on hold he never came to the line instead ML came on the line and I explained I believed this is a scam he gave me a case number which I can not find on any website. After explaining it was a scam I have not gotten any more calls.
