I needed health insurance and was comparing policies online. I gave my contact information to discuss a plan that appealed to me with Aenta, or so I thought it was Aenta. A woman called, articulate and well versed in her profession, and verified the summary details of a policy I was viewing online. As the conversation proceeded, she said the policy was actually underwritten by American Collective LP, with a monthly premium of $657.00 and needed pre-payment to get the policy started. I received a number of what appeared to be valid emails and plan details. I received in the mail what appeared to be a valid insurance card with accompanied letter. They also had a realistic client webpage to log into once the policy was established (paid for). After several weeks I attempted to contact customer service and have received the same recorded message for the past week, "The number you dialed is temporarily unavailable. Good bye."
