Type of a scam Employment
He thrives on insults, demeaning, unethical ways to have employees do what he wants the way he wants. He is overcome by power and feels he is too intelligent for anyone else. His business does not meet OSHA regulations, he does not have Workmans Comp insurance, nor does he provide medical attention to technicians that are out in the field and may be in contact with unhealthy situations. This company has not complied with states regulations for hazardous materials, and/ or provided intervention training to technicians that use these products.
Most of the "employees" are considered subcontractors and are paid by company check, and issued a 1099. However, they are expected to be his "employees" and do as I say or you'll be fired.
All his #1 ratings in Daily News, etc, are fabricated by owner making the employees fill out the required forms using fabricated names, customers.
This business mission statement is to give 110% to each and every customer, but if that customer only wants to use a coupon, he doesn't want that customer and refuse service.
Mike Ramia has several suits against him from employees, clients, and in the middle of a divorce, yet is having an affair with a employee after 2 weeks of her beginning to work for him and is currently living with him. This individual is so hard to work for that the turn around rate is incredible. Do not let his charm or educated communication fool you.
There are many former and current employees that would like something done to make this owner accountable for his actions, and treat each and every individual with respect.
