They wanted to re-launch my five bucks on Amazon. I paid them for using a credit card $439 and then $1500. It felt OK until they said I needed a literary agent who needed a one time fee upfront. That did not sound right. They said that to traditional publishers penguin random house and Simon and Schuster were interested. I had uploaded the files for the five books to them. I blocked the number after speaking to my banker who was concerned about the amount they were asking for.

I was looking to publish a book and I saw an ad claiming to be amazon that was called Amazon KDP Publishers that does book publishing. I went onto the website and chatted with a live agent, who was very rude and pushy, trying to get me to publish my book with them, which they stated was $5,000.00. When I tried to ask about the process, they refused to explain anything and just kept asking me to purchase their service.

I ended the chat and did some research to see if Amazon really did publishing, which they do. The website i had spoken to a live agent on looked nothing like the official amazon website. This site is using Amazon's name to lure unsuspecting publishers like me in to scam us out of our money.

I paid for services that were not delivered. Business posed as Amazon so I assumed I was working with Amazon publishing, but it is not

I purchase the following services: book editing, formatting, Amazon Kindle formatting and hard cover/soft cover formatting- all uploaded to amazon for selling purposes, marketing, copyright services, book copies at all Barnes & Noble stores and 40 Soft cover copies and 10 hardcover books

It was all supposed to be finished by October 26th. Apart from some book editing and formatting, some marketing, I have not received much else. I have gone back and forth with several people (I think wither all the same perosn or different, I am not sure, they are all from India) in regards to getting my book since early October for final book edits, and keep and nothing gets done. I am either ignored or sent the same exact edit as previous. This had been going on for over a month with no changes. I did not recieve any other services paid for.

I have lost many potential sales due to this, as I spoke at conference (October 28) and was supposed to have my book executed and finished by then and clearly communicated this prior to beginning the process.

I keep gett assured that they will send me the book, but they have not and it is naring Christmas time where I will again, lose potental sales. I have anounced the release to my own Social media following, much to my embarressment and stress.
