Credit card scam and unauthorized charges

- Las Cruces, NM, USA

Ordered Amazin Brain product on 1 August 2020. The company added another product to the order without my permission. Scam number 1. Received products on the 10th of August. Products do not work. Scam number 2. Called on 13 August to cancel order after receiving notice from my bank that I was being charged $103.95. Customer representative said that the 14-day trial had expired. 1 August to 13 August is not 14-days. Scam number 3. Representative cancelled account and provided cancellation number and said would send e-mail recording our conversation but no e-mail. Scam number 4. Did not cancel charge. Scam number 5. Called again on 15 August to dispute charge and was told that the 13-day trial had expired. Scam number 6. I called to cancel on the 13th of August within the 13-day trial period window but was told I missed the deadline. Scam number 7. Deceptive business tactic to shift trial expiration dates around to steal from a senior citizen. Representative refused to refund charges. Scam number 8.

I asked for four months for my subscription to be canceled. I asked right after the free trial. I screenshot when I had when on Their website and put in the information they asked for and it said "subscription canceled ". Yet, they again charged my card over 80 something dollars the next month. I would do the same again and email them. I tried calling them and stayed on hold forever. They charged me 110.00 to end the subscription after stealing hundreds from me every month. This is a scam. They should have gave me back some kind of money and they shoulf have not charged me a fee for canceling after they said I could try the trial and cancel for free. I tried and they ignored my cancellation and charged me. That is stealing. I have proof of it.

+1

bill orally ad saying how much this amazing brain nutrition helped him. my wife suffers from dementia and I tryed to help herby getting a free bottle. which I gave credit card to pay for shipping. there was no indication any further ordering anymore product . now they call me and indicate judgment and credit rating could be involved if I don't pay 110 dollars for my next order which has not done any help to my wife.

Scamming for one free subscription then continues to the charge card. Scamming the use of the product claiming it helps aid in brain health and memory to an extreme and is a complete lie. No ingredients list. Not fda approved. Can find basic brain health vitamins at any store. Claiming to help enhanced brain activity, enhanced studying capabilities, help those with ADHA/ADD, boost memory, and help dementia and Alzheimer’s and overall brain activity in which nothing has been proven to do. All lies. False advertising for helping those with medical issues and overall horrible advertising. Just a snake oil salesmen. Did not personally sign up for free subscription and lose money but know those who have.

The organization is Amazin Brain. (Also goes by OmegaBarton or MZTransbright).

An Ad showed on my computer for a free trial of the Amazin Brain supplement, for me to pay about $7.95 for shipping but the product was free. Also, after paying for the product, I was told to pay for the shipping of another supplement (Omega Amazin). I decided not to pay the $7.95 for this one as I was not interested, but later on I saw that my card was billed for the Omega Amazin shipping (so I was billed twice).

About 2 weeks later, I saw that my card was charged $103.95 for the Amazin Brain product and later it was charged another $102.95 for the Omega Amazin product. I did not subscribe for these products. I never ordered this products. I emailed them to cancel the product and refund me but I did not get any call. Their website is considered high risked and does not open. Also, in the email, they tell you to cancel future orders but it does not work. After about one week of trying to call, I finally got an answer. I told them to cancel the subscription and that I never subscribed to their products. They kept offering me discount for future orders but I said I was not interested. I told them to refund me both the $103.95 and $102.95 but they said I can not be refunded. I asked them what the charge was for, they said it was for the products I received, so I told them the website said it was free and I paid $7.95 each, they said it was for shipping and that I was supposed to cancel my subscription during a 14 day window. I asked why did they not clearly state that they had no answers.

I consider this organization and its workers fraudsters and deceitful. They do not provide all the details initially, they take card details and conduct unexpected and unauthorized transactions. Please I want everyone to be aware of this. I also want to be refunded my total of $206.9.

Thank you so much.
