Is this a scam

They had me send money to get a wire transfer and said it would take 10 to 20 minutes never got the money they send me an acceptance letter saying it supposed to be in my bank account it it not they they said if I cancel it 50 so Im trying to see what's going on

Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

I started getting calls & voicemails starting at 6am pst, Oregon. An individual named Dominic calling from (888)444-3424 ext.428 claiming to be with Allied Cash Advance. Answering the 4th call in a row, Dominic started in with letting me know I’ve been approved for the loan / cash advance I applied for with Allied Cash Advance. I actually did apply for a personal loan recently & of course, you think you’re applying on a company’s actual website but it’s really just a referral to lender(s) site, so your info goes Gawd knows where…. After not asking any of the usual security questions legit companies normally ask, (super suss already) Dominic said I was approved for $2,000-$8,000 for 2-4yr loan @ 7.89% int rate. In order for me to receive my loan amount, I had to pay a 5% up front fee that I would be refunded in 2 business days. After fee was paid, my full loan $ amount would be deposited today by 6pm.

????. It doesn’t work like that. I asked him if I could check out their website first to read up on this because I’ve never heard of an upfront fee for a loan, & it wasn’t taken out of loan instead. He confidently gave me the name Allied Cash Advance. I looked them up & they don’t lend in Oregon, the phone number is different, & I called them & they indeed are not affiliated with this guy. Hopefully none of You’s falls for this guys scam!!
