AirTkt is a SCAM!

Cancelled flight within 24 hrs and requested a refund as we purchased the Premium Travel Assist. They do not honor their cancellation/refund policy and tell you to pay hundreds more per ticket. It took 30min to get a hold of a person and they then hang up when you tell them you want your money back per their policy. Total SCAM! Waiting for a class action lawsuit and get them shut down!

I bought 3 airline tickets using this company. Soon after buying the tickets, they started calling us stating that the airline changed the times of the flight and they have to charge me up to 75 for each ticket and if I cancel I will lose all the money of the tickets because they were 'non-refundable''. I agree the first time because I was afraid to lose the tickets. Plus their clauses are very vague and made me believe that the charge would be if I made the changes not the airline. They continue trying to charge me over and over and ended charging me up to 300 dollars in changes of the flight that was out of my control. I was like 4 to 5 months away from my flight and was afraid that they would be charging me until then. So I risked it all and decided to cancel the tickets, however before I did I called the airline directly and was able to get out of the scheme and fortunately they allow me to cancel and refund the tickets in full.

on 2/13/2021 i purchased airline tickets fro AirTkt and i paid them with my credit card when time came to travel the outgoing airlinne was change 2 hours earlier on the notification that i recived they dint give a choise it was eather i take the flight if not it would be canceld so i accepted my return flight i try to do online checking and i could't do it i called Frontier airline and tall them the situation and they advise me that the flight was not existing an the mean time i have confirmation number and tickets number.i was at the airport and spook with one off the frontiere air line manager and show them my proof that i have a reservation the manager look at it said this copany is scammers we dont have this reservation. i cald the travel agency and the persone who answerd the call was very nasty and dint help at all and he shout the phone i call several time it was all the time the same ,finally wind one personne tried to help me and that personne it was really unplesant experience with AirTkt and unprofessional i holpe this agency will not operate anymore and that theire licence should be revocked.

Airtkt was what came up first with google when I searched web for Sun Country Airlines. I booked my flight through them; since I though it was, and it appeared like, an airline website. I had to pay $9.99 to get the privilege to cancel within 24 hours. When I tried to call the airline to cancel when I realized I was not booking on the Sun Country airline site, I got put on hold for what seemed like infinity. I would recommend not booking flights through Airtkt but through the airline itself after my experience.

I used the computer at the Senior Center, and found the first link to united airlines but not the official website. I found a good price airline ticket, not thinking of the official United Airlines website. The other thing the computer system does not have a protection system in place. I made payment with my CC # and then I bought insurance #19.99. I received a confirmation back but I did not receive my E-ticket right away not until a day to five days. That was my flag. I usually get my ticket right away.

AirTKT is scam. They have a CA address, but all their staff are in India, and have the worst customer service. I bought my airline ticket from their website, and put my c/c information. Once I completed the transaction, I got an e-mail immediately saying that my bank didn't approve the transaction. 2 minutest later someone calls my cell phone with an Indian accent, asking me to confirm my identity, and asking me to give him my bank information. I felt suspicious and called my bank on my own. They did attempt to charge my bank using "British Airway" as the charging agent, they submitted 7 attempts to charge with 0 dollar amount, and 1 charge of the actual fair of 901.62 dollars.

So when I saw that they did bill my bank for the fair, I called AirTKT back and indicated that they seem very suspecious, I have never had an American company call me when I book anything online and request to get my bank information, and I told them I didn't like they way they conduct business. The next day, I get an e-mail from them that they cancelled my booked because I refused to confirm my bank information and according to their cancellation policy, I'll be charged $50 Cancellation fee. That's when I called my bank and placed a hold on that transaction.

There are so many similar complaints of this same unethical business practice on BBB, I can't believe that they are still operating and scamming more people.
