Greenoaks Lending Corp. says that they do not refuse anyone for a loan. Sounds legit until they want upfront fees for the "private lender" because my credit score is not at their requirement. I asked the person who called me, that my understanding that lenders aren't allowed to ask for upfront fees to which he replied that it's the "private lenders" who require an upfront fee, but I wouldn't have to start paying for the loan for 2 months, and that there is no penalty for paying off the loan early as it's an open loan. Forget it, not getting sucked into a scam. How do people sleep at night?
