Three months ago my daughter got a call from a company that said she was being sued for bouncing a check 10 years ago. Unfortunately she paid them some money only to find out from the courthouse it was a scam. Today I get a call from a debt collector saying I owe the same creditor and the same amount due to a bounce check to US Bank. These scammers managed to contact me and my daughter with different last names. How stupid are they? If you get a call from ADR Dispute Resolutions I believe it is fraud. They will first have someone contact you saying they are a third part processor needing to serve you papers for a lawsuit being filed against you. The third party person called herself Samantha Garcia. This person will give you a bogus court case number something like CV299815. The courts told my daughter that the courts do not contact people to tell the they are being served. I looked up this company and found several other people filing complaint against them. Why can't we stop people like this? Posting on social media is our way to fight back! Beware if you get a collections call.
