Got a call from an old debt that was settled over 10 years ago then a Gmail email with some bogus letter, no business address and a Gmail account asking to settle for $1,500. Long VM saying they need to speak to me before going to employee to serve papers, etc. What a scam. No record of them with a business license.

I have been receiving phone calls from "Adam, Beene and Berger" since April 2019 regarding a closed account from 2014. When I asked who it was from, they told me and when I called to get information about it, just like I thought, the account was closed after payment, they insisted I was wrong and they would see me in court. The chick named Laura called me and started telling me that we owed money, and when I stood up to her and told her that they were scammers, she proceeded to tell me "Ma'am, I don't need to listen to this, and you need to loose your attitude" all before she hung up on me. You better believe I called them back and gave them a piece of my mind and that if they continued I would be pressing charges against them for harassment. Mr. Jennings called me at work, where I told him he was a pile of cow poop and that he was no man and that living off of lies to get money from others was pathetic. I received another call today, saying they had legal documents and will be coming to my house, and I needed to show a form of ID upon receiving the documents...have been told this for the past few years and still no one has showed up. These people need to be stopped! I'll be reaching out to a REAL Attorney to take these fake ones to jail. I can't stand scammers taking advantage of us hard working folks.

I just got my 4th call from Adams, Beene & Berger saying that they would come to my office or my home to issue me a letter to see me in court over a credit card account from 2012. In December (my 3rd call), I asked for a letter from the company showing proof that this was a legitimate agency. I was sent an email from a generic gmail account of [email protected]. I sent them the proof that the account had been paid off. I got a call back stating that the case had been closed. I just got another call about the account. When I spoke to the "service agent" and told him that this was resolved, he hung up on me. I called the number on the letter from December. I ended up connecting with a "Mr. Jennings". He kept calling me things like sweetie and when I asked him to stop he became belligerent. He hung up on me. I called back. He told me that they were going home for the day. He hung up on me again. I called back he yelled at me that the claim in question had a different account number and to get served and he would see me in court. I wish I would have found these posts sooner! THIS HAS TO BE A SCAM! PAY THESE PEOPLE NOTHING! MAKE THEM SERVE YOU! DON'T LIVE IN FEAR!

Receiving harassing calls from Thomas Mallory. Threatening to Sue me over a account that is 8 years old as well past the statute of limitations. He lies to me telling me I made a payment in 2019 when I was unemployed, so I guess he made the payment. Also, he tries to push back the statue, saying that the payment was made. 2019 would make it 4 years. It's been 8 years. This guy and individuals like him are pathetic.

I feel like email addresses are sold every day, millions of them. It's not very hard to get a person's Social Security number with so many scams out there. I will not be bullied, I will not pay on some bills that is 8 years old, even if they are trying to throwback the statute of limitation for Texas. These people should be ashamed of themselves, trying to make a living off of others back shame on you, liars.

They want me to get a debit card they won't take a money order they won't give me a address where they can be reached I had posted the story before I sign up but it is there for you to read

I am from Maryland and Adams,beene,& berger contact me trying to collect on a debut that is from a banking establishment they said I owe 2000.00 dollars but they would take would take 250.00 to close it out but the strange part is they won't take a money order but they will ask you to go buy a debit card I was always told if they want a debit card it is usually a scam and tried to find a address couldn't find one but scam.com pop and asked did I want to file a complaint against this lawyers office the phone number can't be found the number does
even match to anything it just ring so they called with another number of someone that said he is collecting this money for them this just doesn't legitimate company to me so beware of this phone number 1-8332363365 ext.506
I believe this is a scam because they said it was from 2007 and said I made a payment in 2018 I did pay them so I don't know who did so ideally believe in paying my bills but I don't think I should pay this does Anyone h e advice that I can use so confused

I am so glad to finally find somebody that's going through the same thing with this company, whoever they are. They also told me I owed money to a payday loan that happened in 2014. Trying to push back the statue of limitation, saying that I made a payment in 2019. That would be pretty difficult since I was out of work in 2019, unless this guy, Thomas Mallory, made that payment for me because it wasn't me. Now they want to Sue me for 3000 dollars. This is a crazy company, I believe they are a scam. They just found the wrong one to scam.

A Blocked call was received on 01/27/2021 by a woman claiming to work for this office. She explained i will be taken to court and have a balance with them that can be settled. She then transferred me to the "Account Manager." The Account Manager said i have an outstanding balance for a VISA ending **** but could not provide who the original creditor was. She said processes servers will come to my place of work or home and i will be taken to court. The Last 4 of my social was verbalized by her, as well as a previous place of employment and previous address. She said a card was opened up in 2014. I have no knowledge of any such card and requested proof. She already knew my email address and sent me an email. It is a simple template with no real information about a debt owed other than my personal information and the amount of "Debt" owed. Nothing comes up when i search the name of the business, address or phone number. I called the number provided on the letter back to see if it is a valid phone number and it rings continuously.
