They say I owe 2007.82 for a USBank credit card, that I supposedly owe, I thought I included it in my bankruptcy I filed in 2012, they said it wasn't included, why do they want to settle now after 10 yrs ? About a year ago, I got a call from Avery Dennison wanting to collect on a debt, supposedly for USBank, are these legit or a scam, I didn't send them money in the past. I also have received nothing in the mail, just a fax paper saying, "notice of demand" HELP!

got a call from cameron blackwood, case mngr. saying I owe 2007.82 for a credit card, U S Bank, he says was not included in my bankruptcy I filed in 2012, they supposedly want to settle for this amount. I dealt with this about a year ago from Avery Dennison, now AD & Associates called me representing US Bank and wanting a payoff of this amt. I have received nothing in the mail, I got a " notice of demand " via fax, from a staples store, is this a scam ?

These people name Joseph and Mary contacted my wife and said that she had a credit debt from 20yrs ago. They had her name, social and all this private information. Threatened to sue if she didn't overnight $2000 immediately. I checked the address they gave at 154 W. Foothill Blvd. Suit A-372 In Upland California and it's a UPS store in a mall. Clearly this is a scam and they are using Covid19 to extort money from people and commit fraud. This collection agency doesn't exist and no one contacts you like that for so many years and not even a legal letter received at our home. Please be careful especially older folks. Don't be threatened by this fake collection agency.
