- Dallas, TX, USA

I contacted a carpet cleaning company off an ad on Craigslist. When they called me back my caller ID said EDS Aviation. This seemed odd of course however being desperate for a job sometimes I overlooked these things.

A couple days later a gentleman called me back. it was a man with a Minnesota accent. He instructed me to go to the company's website which was a full legit looking web page. The man had further instructed me to fill out the application on this website click on the red button at the bottom which would allow him in myself to have a face2face phone to phone interview.

I filled out the application. It asked some personal information that I'm not comfortable giving out normally but again being desperate I was willing to overlook the fact that they were asking for my bank account information before I was actually hired. I went to put in my social security number and it wouldn't let me. So I got back to the gym women and he said that they were having it problems but that they would call me back. He did call me back, and I erase my information off the website the application that I was filling out. And I haven't gotten back to him.

I have tried to look up the company but I can't get any information on them it's as if they don't exist.

+1

It's a scam. They copied the company "we clean carpet" they put their worldwide logo on the carpet logo on the yellow vans you see. The website looks legit, but from my evaluation they will steal your identity, so big red scam it is becareful out there.
