This company is a scam, and please don't use them, they did the same thing to me, and charged one of my cards 6000 for their fee and told me not to worry about it, well now that credit card company is coming after me, for their money. I am having to turn over to another company for them to settle this debt since it is mostly Acro's do not use them. They are scammers.

I was contacted by this company and was told that they could eliminate all of my credit card debt for a very minimal out-of-pocket expense. I later found out that they would charge their fees to my credit cards, but was told that I would not be responsible for paying them. I subsequently contacted all of the credit card companies involved and was issued new cards in order to thwart this company's intentions. They tried to come off as a legitimate company, offering a "contract" and "credit counseling" , but after carefully considering what they would be doing, I concluded that their "services" are, in fact, illegal and fraudulent. I would warn anyone contacted by this "company", which is just another band of thieves, to hang up the phone immediately and block their number!

A professional sounding white American called my elderly mother stating that they had all her information and that they would help her pay off her credit card bills so that she could leave me free of her debts. They convinced her as they had her name, address, social security, and the last four digit of several of her credit cards. She would talk with someone new, another professional sounding white American, the first several times, but they would give her their names and employee Id's. She said she didn't feel right about it, but that every time she tried to get out of it, they convinced her and reassured her, giving them their "direct numbers" and that they could call her anytime. At the last moment, when she was convicted, they said that they collected payment by charging $6,000 to one of her cards and then they would payoff the rest of her credit cards. Thus she proceeded to give them the information of 4 cards. In passing conversation, she stated she forgot to tell me, but that she felt that it was weird. When I found out they were going to charge her card, I jumped into action. There is no website, every time you call, they ask you to leave a message (without stating the name of a business or person) or its a call answering service that asks you to leave a message. When searching for reviews of the business, I found several places where consumers described the same scam with this company. We called all the cards, they had already charged $6,000 to her card and we cancelled the rest. When the Acro Representative, Mandy, finally called us back, they proceeded to try to explain away why there were bad reviews at the ScamPulse.com and she was angry when my mother was firm about cancelling. They should all go to jail for taking advantage of our elder mothers and fathers.

Would eliminate $9900 credit card debt when I paid minimum monthly for three months. Put additional charge of $1950 on card now which would also be eliminated. Then pay $20 for 18 months to privicy guard program to raise my score to min. of 800 and $100 for 10 months to Acro Services. They also received a password to my bank account. Is this a scam?
