I met a man by the name if Randy Cole at my mothers house. He was a supposed sewing machine mechanic. He was a very nice man. During the time he was "repairing" the sewing machine at my mothers, he told me about a business opportunity that he had. He stated that the was the last of his kind when it came to sewing machines repair, that he was getting old, and wanted to teach someone his business. He directed me to his website, www.abesew.com, to read about the business opportunity. It seemed like a great opportunity and I contacted him and we set up a time to meet. I met with Randy Cole for 4 hours at an IHOP. I told me that he did not have a store front and only did his business mobile and went to the homes of his customers to fix their machines. He said he wanted to have a store front opened and this was his plan. He wanted someone to put up $15,000.00. For this he would train the person and teach them his trade. That the person would open a store front, and put up all the money in exchange for him teaching them how to fix sewing machines. Yesterday i signed the lease for the shop. I put up $700 for the lease. I signed the lease and contacted Randy to let him know. Randy then told me to quit my job and get the money ASAP. He said he needed the money to get things going, even though we were not to start the business until August 1. I was to quit my job today and then take a withdraw out of my 401k to pay him. The HR dept at my job said that it would be two weeks before I would get them money. Randy did not like this. He wanted his money now. So after he knew that it was going to take so long, he started being very mean and angry. He sent me texts saying that it was taking to long and he was not going to fulfill his side of the bargain since I did not have the money fast enough. This was after I had already signed the lease. So basically he was not happy about not getting his $15000.00 fast enough and knew I was going to figure out it was a scam. Randy stated that he has done this sort of thing 2 other times with two other men and it had not worked out. Meaning he took their money and ran. Randy Cole is a scam artist and lures you in to the great business opportunity, takes your money, and runs. Please put a notification up about him. Since then he has taken all contact information from his website. He has taken down the business opportunity and removed his email.
