This is a message from AAC regarding an open investigation pertaining to ***** to verify location information. Please contact the issuer at 844-968-4544 and reference case file 439-01223 to prevent further escalation.

This is the text I’ve received now multiple times after being called and asked to give out personal information over the phone without being provided any actual reasoning or information.

This phone number 888-341-2859 claims that they have an open investigation and is verifying location information, they are sending me this via text. They said their contact number is 888-845-2148, there is no company associated with either numbers. Also if it is a true debt collection company they would never send a text only communication is through a phone call or a letter

This is twice that they have tried to “collect” money. They would not tell me who their “client” is the first time they tried to contact me. They have been making phone calls to me, my parents, may ex husband, his current wife and my ex brother in law. I even told them not to contact my family or my ex husband or his family members. They are harassing and will not stop. Have to keep blocking numbers on my phone. Never received mail from them either.
