I called my mortgage company to see if they had Attempted to reach me via mail, and they had no record of any letters being mailed to me recently.

We reserve the right to revoke allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice." It included what looked like a check at first glance but clearly is not as the bottom says "THIS IS NOT A CHECK." It also stated "Not all consumers have potential coverage. Not affiliated with XXXXXXXX (mortgage lender)."

Attached is what looks like an incomplete check without a company name with a Home Owner ID which is 10 characters long. In the To The Order Of section it has my name and address. It says Allocated Waiver above the $ box and there is a signature line beneath that.

On the bottom of the “check” it states in italics, Not all customers have previous coverage. Not affiliated with *REDEACTED LENDER NAME* THIS IS NOT A CHECK

After refinancing my mortgage I would get mail once or twice a week for a month pretending to be from my lender. Every letter would have threatening verbiage demanding I take immediate action and contact them or I may be failing to do something important with my refinanced loan. Stuff like, "This letter is to inform you about an important matter regarding the property at ABC secured by your current lender XYZ. We reserve the right to revoke allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice. Please call us IMMEDIATELY as this will be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU 888-467-3210". They even attached a fake check at the bottom with a dollar amount paid to me. Upon closer inspection no where does it say the originators name, address, or identifying information. Just a number to call and my loan servicer's name everywhere.

Received what appeared to be a check in the mail. Attached letter stated "This letter is to inform you about an important matter regarding the property at [My address] secured by your lender which is Department of Housing & Urban Development (which it is not). We reserve the right to revoke allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice. please call immediately as this will be our final attempt to notify you 888-467-3210. Then has a perforated attached check, or what appears to be a check except it has "Allocated Waiver" located over a box with $199 where the check amount should be. The document is unsigned but has a location to be signed. This appears to be a phishing scam of some type. It's very realistic looking. If it didn't have my data wrong, I may have called the number instead of looking it up. It very cleverly has no return address, no website, no email, and no contact data. Just a phone number. Super sketchy.

I called the business thinking it was from my Loan company. They knew information on my house and how old it was. I did let them know that I had American Home Shield but I did not give them my account number. I did not give them any bank information or credit card information. I did not give them other personal identifying information like my Social Security Number. They were very rude and pushy, and wanted to give money right away.
