Pretty much exactly the same as the other one listed on here. The letter in the mail used words like “final notice” and implied that it was an emergent situation that I contact them and buy a home warranty. I’ve never heard of this company before. The letter felt really predatory and I could easily see it tricking someone into spending money.

One of many letters I receive in the mail from different home warranty companies. All of them say final notice. This one had customer ID:285LC20740, letter signed by Wade Grant Program Director, other letters from same company(Home Warranty Division) have a different customer ID, a different phone number to call, and a different named program director, and either my name, my husband name, or my dead father-in-laws name as person letter sent to. We have been getting these for years, knew they were fake as we never had a home warranty, Father-in-Law never lived with us, as he passed away in 1983, we are not sure how his name was included.

The heading on the letter sent to me was my mortgage company: Midatlantic Farm Credit

Their company used personal information concerning a late payment on my property insurance and said my warranty policy was to expire soon, and that a failure to call and prevent a potential lapse of coverage could result in being liable for all costs associated with any home repairs. AND...

It is important to contact our office at 1 888 404 4504 prior to the expiration date to avoid any unnecessary delays in your coverage.

When I asked if the coverage was already a part of my mortgage they said it was.... was the $189/month on top of my regular mortgage they vaguely said there would be no change.. they pushed me to make a decision but they made it vague that it was a separate charge.

Got a letter from an unknown company that said this was an urgent, final notice. It was written as if an official document, but only stated it was from the Home Warranty division and Wade Grant is the program director. It did not say what company he works for, but said its lender info was "classified for privacy." It said way down at the bottom in small print that it is FL license # W887595. It says it is urgent we call 888-404-4504 or we'll lose our coverage. It is clearly a scam, but would fool a lot of people, especially elderly. We tried to call the number from a blocked line and they would not answer. Put on permanent hold.

I received a letter signed by Wade Grant, Program Director, at my home address (which i normally receive all my mail at my PO Box) stating that my property's home warranty may be expiring or has already expired. When i contacted the # 888-404-4504 & asked to be removed from their mailing list, they asked for my "customer ID#", which I gave to them from the letter I received. I was put on hold while the representative, Allen, said he would take care of it and after a few seconds, the call was dropped and I was no longer on hold with music. I blocked my phone number (*67), before I called and I did not call back after the call ended.

Received in routine postal mail IMPORTANT NOTICE advising me to contact office via phone 1-888-404-4504 so that we do not have a lapse in coverage for (listed) covered components -AC, hot water heater, furnace, refrigerator, plumbing system. "It's not too late to activate your service contract and protect your home...". Please call before October 18th, 2024. RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED. No names in the document except for my name address and full zip code. No return address on the envelope, just "mailed from 63155 Permit 5497. The document included a Property ID 270CT00554, which when searched, listed several realtor sites and a couple of property identification sites.

Operating hours were listed as M-F 7A -7P CST and Saturday 10A - 4P CST. I did not respond.

Each letter provides different expiration dates, and there is a name listed—Wade Grant, Program Director—along with a contact number: 1-888-404-4504. The letters urge me to call during their stated operating hours but fail to provide any official return address or further details about where the communication is coming from. Given the repeated nature of these unsolicited letters, I suspect this is a scam and wanted to notify you to help warn others.

The person who answered the phone name was Keith but the director name was Wade Grant. Kieth ask me for my ID number on.the letter and gave it him then he ask me did I still need come out and take care my problem I was having I said no I'm not having

a problem he ask me was this Claudia Alexander and I said yes then he put me on hold and never came back.
