I have received 2 messages so far from "Lauren Nichols" with Nationwide property and pre-legal appraisal services. The first one she said she was retained by ERS (don't know who they are) to do an appraisal on my vehicle at (give my address), and give the last 4 of my vehicle VIN. She said the filing party is requesting they do the appraisal within 48 to 72 hours and it will only take about 15 min and then she will need to obtain some signatures on a few things once it's completed. Said if i was unable to be there to contact the retaining party at 888-260-5530 and leaves the case number.
The second message was also from "Lauren Nichols" and stated that they had a scheduling conflict and had to move my appraisal date. She stated she would be out this afternoon with an officer (I work for a local law enforcement agency) to complete the appraisal on my vehicle and again states my vehicle year, model and last 4 of the VIN at my address. Again she states that if I am unable to be there it's imperative to contact the retaining party at 888-260-5530 and gives the case number. Do not give out your personal information over the phone.

I have been getting this exact message but from an Amanda Long. Today I got the message about the scheduling conflict and that her and a officer will be here this afternoon. Did they ever show up at your home?

Scam!!!!

Have received several calls from a local number, even called my sister at one point, saying the person’s name is Jordan from National Appraisal Services and that they have been retained by ERS (whoever that is, no clue) to do an appraisal on my home. They leave a case number and say to call back at 888-260-5530. On one message they say that the number they give is for the retaining party so I can aak questions if I have any. I have no reason for a home appraisal. I’m not refinancing or selling my home. One message says they are coming by my house with an officer and that the appraisal will o my take 15 minutes and then they need my signature on some things. This very much sounds like a scam. I’ve not answered the calls but have a feeling if I did or called them they’d try to get personal info from me. Always be on alert for suspicious calls! Do not give personal info out over the phone especially if you have no idea who the people are that are calling you.

Left multiple messages for a name I have not used in over 20 years. One message the caller said they were Amanda Long. Stated she was from Nationwide Insurance and needed to come by my home to do an appraisal on a 2022 Indian on 02-28-2025 between 1-3. In another message the caller said she was Amanda Long from Judicial Services and said the call was urgent about a legal matter that needed my signature. Multiple messages using different case #’s but leaving the same number 888-495-3404. I called them 3 times relating to 3 separate messages. Each time a different person answered the call. Rude. Wanted personal information. Threatened me with jail. They refuse to tell you who they are, business name, email, address, or even a city. I have 9 current messages on my telephone from these scammers and field multiple scam calls per day. Unsure what anyone can do about the rampant scam business out there. Don’t be fooled by these [censored]. Process servers DO NOT announce their arrival folks. Court papers will always show up in the mail or in person at your door. You have no idea who is on the other end of a call, do not give out any information. Zero information.Over the past few years I have had hundreds of these calls. Different numbers used but the same story line
