I had received an email advising me to renew a membership to Best Buy. I called the phone number and was was immediately suspicious as I didn’t hear the typical company greeting and choices a company offers. I hung up, immediately trashed the email, deleted and blocked the phone number. I then received several calls from the same number which I didn’t answer. Interestingly, the email I received had been eliminated. On my phone, the number was then identified as potential spam.
