The scammer basically took information from me to reserve a rental car. When I asked if I could pay for the rental using a debit card the woman's name (Hazel) said I could only pay with a major credit card or a pre paid gift card. I went and purchased one at Walgreens a Delta gift card.

When I gave her the info off the card she said everything went thru and I chose to have the rental car delivered to me at 4pm on July 25th. The car never came and no one showed up. I checked my gift card balance and found that appx. $488 dollars was taken off my gift card for rental car agreement but no car was ever delivered to me. I tried calling the 2 numbers that I used to speak with Hazel but both numbers were out of service. What a waste. Scammed for nearly $500.
