Received a voicemail from Sean Adams calling on behalf of NY State processing unit about a summons I supposedly will be receiving and could call the Law office of Meyer & Daniels at 855-293-1079. The call came through as unknown caller, no number.

Received a voicemail, but no missed call indicating a blocked number called. A lady said her name is Lisa with the Georgia Processing Dept and I was being officially notified of a pending civil suit. She left the law firm name Meyers & Daniels at 855-293-1079 and a claim number. I called and a spoke with a guy who recited my full name and last 4 of my social. I gave him my claim number and he said I took out a loan with Advance Loans and owed 3,000. Told him I had no debt and he then says, not now but you did and it can be handled today for 900+ dollars. I told him his information is wrong. He says he speaks with people all over the world and good luck with my case. I thanked him, knew it was a scam who apparently had my name and last 4 of my social and ended the call. My information was sold somehow and I will look at my credit reports to dispute.

Stated they were with the Tennessee State Processing Unit on behalf of Meyers and Daniels. However, the number belongs to Meyers and Daniels. There is no TN Processing Unit. They stated they would be issuing a garnishment or arrest warrant but not mention why. They stated they'd come to address that I not lived in as an adult. Also claimed to notify my employer.
