Deceptive auto warranty mailer hides company identity
This business uses scare tactics and fake government headers to trick consumers. The letter says "Official Business – Penalty for Private Use $300" and is labeled "FORM 9550-WARR" to make it look like a mandatory government document.
It is marked as a "FINAL NOTICE" and threatens that I will be financially liable for car repairs if I don't call them immediately. They pulled my name, home address, and car model from public records to make the notice look official.
This is a predatory marketing scam designed to frighten people into buying extended warranties. I am filing this complaint so this unknown business can be investigated and to warn other consumers.
