On 4/17, I received a call from an "Emma" with "Fresh Start Assist" wanting to know if I had time to discuss the personal loan request in MO. I texted back asking how they got my information, as I have never associated with such a company. Then I immediately received a text back saying they received my inquiry about Lendvia with a web address of https://lendvia.com, asking if now was a good time to call. At this point, I believed it to be a total scam, so I deleted the text. Since I had not responded further, they texted again on Saturday, and then again just a little bit ago.

I've been receiving an excessive number of text messages from "Fresh Start Assist" recently. Today alone, I received 14 texts within a single minute.

These messages concern a loan that I never requested or applied for. Although I recognize this as a scam and have marked the messages as junk each time, they continue to arrive incessantly, which is quite frustrating.

Hi Stephanie, this is Emma from Fresh Start Assist. Following up on your personal loan request in LA to assist with your finances. We want to review your approval & next steps. Reply END to opt out. If you no longer need the loan, just let me know. Otherwise, can I call you now to discuss further?

After calling SDGE to add care program to my account. I started receiving text messages addressing me by my first name and stating I applied for a personal CA loan to assist with my financial troubles. Emma from First Start Assist Ca. I reported as spam and blocked the number immediately.

They said I applied for a loan, which was false. She said I was already approved for the loan and in order to see who put in the application, I would need to give my birthday and social to find the application. Then I was denied to speak with any manager or supervisor after I was told I didn't qualify for the loan.
