Report

Our flight was cancelled so I googled American Airlines and the phone # 800-433-7800 came up. The person, Ashton, answered the phone as reservation desk. He said that he could change our flight but it will be an additional $153.00 per person because he was moving us up to preferred seating, seats 11A & B. When we finally got to the ticket desk AA said those seats are under a different name and found us open seats. They scammed us acting as if they were American Airlines.
