A letter was sent, masked to appear like it was from a mortgage lender, and the property of primary residence was listed in the letter. It would look like a check, but upon further inspection was revealed to be “not a check“. It was for something indicated to be an allocated waiver for $199.

I called the number (800) 407-3544 on paperwork and they said they wanted to sign me up for internal repairs tp my home and it would only cost me $70.00 per service call. and wanted me to give her all kinds of information regarding myself and my home. I hung up on the woman when she started asking these questions and looked up the number on the internet and came to this page stating it was a scam.
