My husband found an ad on Facebook for Wayfair for a dresser for $39.99. Using my debit card we purchased it. When the charge hit my bank account, I didn't recognize it; I googled the Transaction description "PURCHASE ROMORYXWSUSD 562-3516581 CO CARD2271". It immediately came up with several google hits for SCAM and even mentioned Wayfair and other retailers using the same description.

They used a ***** Sportong Goods look alike website ad on Facebook marketplace. After I bought the slippers I never received a follow up email or anything. It appeared in my bank account as Romoryxmsusd with phone number 562-351-6581 for $40.14. Buyers beware. It looked really legit like I was on ***** website.
