It received a postcard in the mail, on March 4, 2024. The postcard just reads.

Urgent Notice

Dear My name

AN unclaimed gift of $250.00 in REWARD DOLLARS is being held for you at our main processing center. Call now to Claim it before it expires.

1-888-518-5103 then a claim #.

On the back of the postcard, it says. $250. in reward dollars call now 1-888-518-5103 claim number again.

Then it says: Claim Your reward and use it to save on popular brands like... Sony, Chili's Amazon The Olive Garden, Target Subway Walmart

then a gray box with product giveaways, surprise bonuses cash giveaways, reward dollars gift card giveaways.

then it says it is sponsored by Privacy Patrol. and some real small writing.

I received a postcard in the mail saying urgent notice. An unplanned gift of $250 in reward dollars is being held for you at our main processing center. Call now to claim it before it expires. With the phone number 855-200-7448 and explain number under that. On the back it had $250 but the rest of it was scratched out and then there was call now with that phone number and then there was the same claim number again. Then it said claim your reward and use it to save on popular brands like it had the Chili's logo, North face, Sony, Olive garden, Amazon, Target, Subway and Walmart. Under that it says reward dollars, cash giveaways, gift card, giveaways, games and daily deals, product giveaways and surprise bonuses. In small print it says sponsored by privacy patrol. And even smaller print it says all product names, company names and logos/ trademarks depicted are (1) The property of their respective holders. Participating offers subject to change. Then it says see website for terms and conditions. (There is no website anywhere on the card) Under that is call now with the same phone number. Call 7 days a week 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. ET 7 days a week 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. ET. So I called the number and the lady says what is your claim number. I said well what company is this? It doesn't say anything about it. She said it's sponsored by privacy patrol and then proceeded to tell me everything the postcard already did and then she Made sure my address was correct so that they could send the voucher (not the prize) when I confirmed my address she said congratulations! All we need now is 99 cents to cover the postage and handling. I hung up immediately and then started reading all these bad things about this company, privacy patrol my foot. If they're an identity theft company, then that's what they're doing is stealing your identity, or it'at the very least your money, I did ask her a couple of times. What is this? She never once said anything about it being an identity theft thing. She never said anything except that it was privacy patrol. Except for

Hi so I got the card. Called the 800, number. At first gentlemen would not give me name of company...privacy patrol. Then he wanted checking or credit numbers. I told him I would send money order. He didn't accept that. So I hung up

First of all Privacy patrol is an ID protection company. they do NOT scam people nor do they send out watches or other junk. You do get a pst card stating that there is a reward certificate waiting and to call the provided number. Once you do that, the CSR will do their very best to explain fully what PP is and how it works. You will pay 1.90 to get the certificate mailed out and it is EXPLAINED IN DETAIL that it is a FREE 30 day TRIAL, AFTER the 30days you WILL be charged if YOU(The customer) does not call in to cancel. IT IS THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSABILITY to call. IF YOU DO NOT CALL, THEN YOU GET CHARGED. seems reasonable to me. HOWEVER PEOPLE HAVE SELECTIVE HEARING. They hear FREE>>> and nothing else, so then when they get charged they scream SCAM>>>>> a scam is when a company does not disclose if there is any charges. PP explains and explains this to the customer. Again people 21-80 should be able to understand perfect English. there is no excuse not to understand.

I was never once told about a 30 day free trial I was only told I had the voucher coming & it would cost .99 ¢ to get it. I asked several times what it was for & she never answered me. I too think you work for the company! Scammer!

I think that best response is so arrogant and ignorant. Yes they very clearly disclose the $1.90 fee to ship your "$100 voucher that can be used for gas groceries dining etc" as well as disclosing the fact that you'll be charged if you don't cancel these subscriptions. And there are two by the way not just the one. First of all second of all if you get a postcard in the mail promising you $100 to use towards whatever you need. Then said $100 voucher never appears, is that not the EXACT definition of false advertising? I think the customer complaints are very clear to read or do YOU have a hard time with reading/comprehension?🤔🤔 You sound quite irritable, is it possible that you work for this company? 🤔🙄SCAM defined👌🏼

I recieved a postcard in the mail saying I had an unclaimed reward of $100 and it had a claim ID# on it with a number to call... nowhere on the postcard did it reveal who sent the postcard or what business it was coming from...I called the # 1-800-575-1574 ...she immediately asked for the claim # and then TOLD ME my name...then proceeded to tell me that I have $100 waiting for me for shopping, grocery,etc. But there will be a one time fee of $1.90 to process and send the $100...I explained to her I was not giving out my private banking information ESPECIALLY WHEN I STILL WAS NOT TOLD WHAT COMPANY I WAS DEALING WITH...she then got mad and said they were with Privacy Patrol and I need to go look it up and then call back and give her my info and then hung up on me...I then looked up and found several and I mean several testimonials stating the EXACT SAME THING going back a couple years....all of people saying the same things that I dealt with in my phone call....apparently they are just using a different phone number

Privacy Patrol/Reward Center sent my Mom who is 84 years old a post card claiming urgent notice. The postcard had a toll free number to call. My Mom called and the service rep explained to her that she was selected based on the our zip code. They want to send my Mom a $100 reward certificate she can use for dining, shopping, and other things. The only problem with this offer is that they wanted her bank account or credit card number so they can charge a $2 fee in order to send my Mom this reward certificate. I told my Mom to not tell the person anything about your bank or credit card information because it is a scam. If they have this information they can charge your account and they do not have to send you anything.

A post card was mailed to me on 11/21/19 with no return address stating "Urgent Notice" with my name re: Unclaimed Reward in the amount of $100.00. A claim # was identified, and the toll-free number (1-800-563-8580) to claim the $100.00 reward was also identified on the card - "Our records indicate that we have a reward in your name." Operating hours were identified Mon- Fri. 8:00 am to 9:30 pm, Sat 8:00 am to 8:30 pm, Sun 8:00 am to 6:30 pm.

I phoned the 800 number three times from a blocked phone number and was finally told that the company name is Privacy Patrol and is involved in identity theft. To receive the reward, one would have to pay $1.99 up front. It also appears that individuals 65+ years of age are being targeted.

This offer, in my opinion, is a scam which I suspected from the start. Do not fall for it.

Received a post card in the mail, advising to call 1-800-910-0345, stating they had $100.00 of unclaimed money for me. Charged $1.90 to get info. I have already called the back and changed back cards. Seems to be a scam to call and have to pay to get information. Nothing was provided for the $1.90

First they sent letter said I won if I did what would I spend it on good to hear your thinking of your future and loved ones you can choice 3 magazine and you get a watch
