Received check in mail for $2920.00 for a Frito Lay campaign promotion. Check was drawn on Hillcrest Elementary School in Morristown Tn. Bank is Regions Bank with no other information. Instructions to text James Rooney to approve deposit.

I received a letter and a check in the mail and was instructed to text a James Rooney at 518-528-9532 with my name and the check number and amount of the check for authorization. I did this and wasnt able to go immediately and he texted back several times asking if i had made the deposit yet so i did an internet search and found he was involved in anothet scam listed already from July of this year. So i did not deposit the check or have further contact with him
