A text message from this company was sent to my husband‘s telephone at the end of last week. Today, Monday, 19 May I received a phone call with voicemail from a Miss Day claiming that we had purchased glasses from LensCrafters on time assumably with a credit card and only paid one or two payments and never followed through. Therefore, we owe money for that supposed purchase. They refused to advise us of what date this purchase was made where it was made, and the date it was made.

The woman on the phone became very belligerent when I tried to question her on those things and actually yelled at me telling me I was being uncooperative. She said I could receive a full exoneration if I paid her a certain amount of money that being $531.95 to clear the debt today.

I advised her that I was not only not going to pay, but if this was valid, they could go ahead and take me to court which really pissed her off.

She said she was gonna put this through for action and would be sending it on for a sheriff or police officer in our county to complete the service of action for court proceedings.I knew immediately this is a scam because if this was valid, she would have times dates and places whether she was an attorney or a collection agency. But the fact that she had my current address, our current phone numbers and my husband Social Security number is very very concerning.

They called from a 870-260-7534 that said Arkadelphia, Arkansas, but want me to call back a 351-837- 0407 number. It wasn’t even about me. It was about my husband. The message said “it is imperative that we hear from you or your authorized representative if you do wish to handle this matter voluntarily We can be reached at 351-837-0407 Referred to file number Eight Six Two Zero Five Zero This is a time sensitive matter We expect to hear from you immediately."

Called for my wife, said we had a past due balance that was going before the judge in days. I could stop it by paying $1040 today - but would not provide me information except that a filing was made on 12/29/2020 from what appeared to be a payday loan - "Web Loan Financial." Said she would be charged with intent to mislead, and Breach of contract.

Left a voicemail using my former last name saying Press 1 to speak to an agent. They received a file in their office with my name used to respondent and it is imperative that they hear from me or my authorized representative if i wish to handle this matter voluntarily abd They can be reached at 351-837-0407 Referred to file number 855779. I received a voice-mail to contact them or my representative. I called back and someone answered but I couldn't understand what they were saying. I asked again who was I speaking with and still couldn't make out the words. I hung up and researched the phone number. That's when I see a post with this same number.

Received call from 513-901-XXXX but told to call 351-837-0407. It was a robotic voice and when asked what is about, they would tell me anything. They demanded money, but wouldn't say for what so I hung up.

Received voicemail saying i needed to call them at the number they provided to get information about a matter that I am supposedly a respondent in. If i didn't respond to them, the matter may be escalated to court action.

I checked the phone number online and the only references i could find were scam reports. I did not return their call.

The phone number appeared as a Telemarketing call when it came across my cell phone and I allowed the call to go to voicemail as I do not answer unknown numbers. It was an automated message left for my sister stating that she or an authorized representative on the account needed to return their call and included a file number. There was no direct contact person or company name for who to contact included in the message.

Voicemail left stating, "A debt collection file was received at our office. It is imperative that we hear from you or your authorized representative if you do wish to handle this matter voluntarily. We can be reached at 351-837-0407. Refer to file # 844591. This is a time sensitive matter. We expect to hear back from you immediately."

Reason I know it's a scam is that it was intended for a family member and not myself.

Message left on my elderly parents voice mail. Something about a court threat and to call 351-837-0407

Asap..I tried to call and before a human being picked up phone , I got another incoming call from 816-425-0060

The lady was curt and rude saying why are you calling my number?. She said a debt with advanced America was not paid and she listed my car vin number and a loan I took out maybe 2009-2011! Which was paid in full. They said they are law firm Greenwood & Allen? They said I made a payment in may of 2020?. I filed bankruptcy in 2019 and it was cleared and released. They threatened me that I better hire a lawyer and that they wouldn’t stop finding every connection I wrote as collateral? I called local Advanced America and she ran my ss. Said nothing on file to ignore and block….

This person said I took out a loan in 2020 from EZ Money Finance. They said I owed $3000. When I asked for their correspondence, they said they were based in Atlanta, GA and don’t give out correspondence due to high number of threats. I didn’t give any information and hung up. They called a family member also.
