Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes

On April 30 on Instagram feed there was post for sweepstakes offering as the weekly prize an AMG-Mercedes eBike (Mercedes-AMG F1 Rallye Edition 750 Electric Bike). It asked me four simple questions in a survey and then "verified" my answers. I was directed to their "distributor" at internationalprizewise.com. Had to select from ten boxes for prize. Had three chances and "won" on second. To collect the about $7,500 prize, I was asked to use credit card to pay $7.95 in shipping and/or handling. The site was very professionally done and genuine looking, so I provided debit cards details and submitted payment. Site rejected me or claimed that my account closed in three tries. (Account is active, but I keep only a smaller balance on this debit card.) Checked on Monday, May 5th and no debit activity had taken place over five days. The internationalprizewise.com site uses secure handling (secure sockets SSL?) as it noted in one of the several screenshots that I took of the entire transaction. It was either a fraud in not accepting payment to deliver the prize won or was just a scam phishing site. May now have to close (and reopen with new account number and card) that small-balance credit union account should I ever decide to increase its balance in the future.

Scam was similar to Fender guitar one reported as Scam ID 97941 in Texas.
