I needed a tow and this company popped up on Google in my area. I called and they said it would be 900$ to tow my car. It seemed astronomical but it's a work vehicle. They said they would call me back. Then another tow company shows up and said someone paid them 400$ to do the call. This company, come to find out, is based out of Weaverville CA and is 3 hours away. They take your money, call someone else and pocket the money when they don't do the job themselves. They're scamming people.
