I attempted to buy a baseball bat online. It cost $160. Once I paid for everything, which took too many days to get done, I then was told by the shipping company (which I think is fake), that I then owed $100 for Insurance, $150 for Stamps, $150 + $30 for City Fees. I've been trying to cancel this for many days, but they kept insisting that things would go smoothly once I continued to pay. No matter how many times I asked to cancel the payment, stop the process and refund me, they always kept pushing for me to pay more. They never refunded me. This has been an exhausting transaction, with 100s of text messages and emails, filled with false promise, hope and shady red flags. This was supposed to be a present for my son's birthday, and now we do not have a present for him.
