I called Xfinity Mobile at (888) 655-4075 to upgrade my mobile phones (two in my household). After being quoted a down payment of $91 per phone, the lady, who called herself "Angel," said my total was $400+. I asked how that was possible since she just quoted me $182 for both phones. She said, "The total includes sales tax." She honestly believed I would be dumb enough to pay over $200 in sales tax on $182. When I told her it's illegal to charge that much sales tax, she hung up on me.
