Wish For Solutions Reports & Reviews – Page 2 (30)

They infected my Mother's Apple iMac. The computer locked up and displayed a window saying to call Apple Support. So she called and they manipulated her. She said they were moving the mouse, so they had control over her Mac. Somehow they initiated a bill pay check to "Wish for Solutions" in her bank account for $449. After a long call with the bank, payment was stopped and she has a new account. They phoned her repeatedly asking her about the payment. I hope karma pays back the these lowlifes that have nothing better to do than scam innocent folks. -- We'll be reformatting her iMac to rid all traces of the infection.

My computer was locked down by Wish for Solutions and was told they could help me take care of the problem. I was charged $249.99 for them to fix the problem. They then transferred me someone else and for $1,000 they would secure my computer for the lifetime of the machine. I have not paid either amount. I've been checking this company and there were numerous complaints and it seems they are not affiliated with microsoft at all.

POP up warning came up on my screen telling me my computer was hacked and was charged $250 for them to "fix" the problem. They have been calling non stop asking for their payment. I'm not sure what to do, if I don't make the payment, can they get into my computer. C. Mundy, [email protected]

- pop up warning came up on my computer and a voice -as saying Do Not Shut Down Your Computer, Do Not Try To Back Out All kinds of things except that I needed to call the number on the screen asap or I was going to lose everything on my computer. Even had the Microsoft emblem on the screen but the number I was to call was 1-888-877-4199. They had me believing that my computer wasn't protected but they would protect it for $688.00. That was a discounted price because I am disabled. I was going to have to make 2 payments and make the check out to," Wish For Solutions 11405 Viers Mill Road, Silver Spring, Maryland 20902." They even called Fedex to come to my house and pick up the first check for $300.00. After something bothering me I went into my computer and went directly to Microsoft and started talking with a real Microsoft Tech through Chat. He told me first to call my bank and stop payment on that check and then to call him back and for $149.00 I got Real Microsoft Support for a year. That was horrible because I was scrambling everywhere to get the money to pay this $688.00.
