Wells Fargo Imposter Scam Call Reports & Reviews (1)

Report

Caller said there was suspicious activity on my debit card. When I questioned the legitimacy of this call, they sent me a code using the Wells Fargo Banks text number, to get me to tell them the code to verify my identity, and another text with code to change my bank account passcode. I need to know what I should do to protect from them opening new accounts using my identity. My bank said there was nothing taken from that account, but I am concerned that they are using it to open other accounts using my information. Not sure what else to do.
