I saw ad for Wayfair on Facebook advertising Wayday and 3 days sales. I found an Alecia 6 drawer dresser listed $69. I placed my order and was sent confirmation of my order being placed. The order was placed 1/03/25. I was given order number and tracking number. I tracked the shipping until I got email on 1/17/25;stating it was delivered at my mailbox. There wasn't any delivery so I contacted the post office and they stated it wasn't a dresser but envelope and wasn't even my address. I contacted Wayfair customer service to discover they had no such order and that it was a scam. I then contacted my bank which told be that the order was actually SoFi Clothing. I then emailed their site customer service to be told it was a SCAM and they weren't responsible either. Now I am out both a dresser and the $78.99 I paid .

I'm sorry but a lift chair at that price would have been the biggest red flag ever that the website you were shopping around on was a scam site. If that is your license, address, phone number, name, and payment information. I would remove those pictures or black out that information before uploading the pictures. Your begging for people to scam you and steal your identity by doing that.

I had been searching for shoe storage options online. I saw a "Wayfair" ad pop up on either Facebook or Instagram for a Black Friday sale on a shoe storage rack at a very discounted rate. Being around Black Friday, unfortunately I did not think any fishy about the steep discount. I clicked on the ad and it took me to a website that appeared to be Wayfair from the logo and branding. I purchased the item with my debit card and got an email confirmation immediately that my order was placed. Later I received a second email that my order had been shipped and had a tracking number (from a non-standard carrier). Both emails had Wayfair logo and branding so I did not even think to check the reply to address. The tracking did not provide an eta, but gave a status. I monitored over the next few weeks until finally it showed delivered on 12-16-24. When nothing was at my house, I looked all around and even asked neighbors. Then I went to reach out to customer service and realized that the "customer service" email was not Wayfair. I emailed them anyway, but no response.

Same thing just happened to me and that’s the same email that sent my tracking number the website said C sitcom affiliate so I guess it’s safe to some one Jen scammed right?

While scrolling on facebook a WAYFAIR (imposter) ad popped up offering bookcases I had been looking at on the official WAYFAIR site for a drastic discount. I paid $39 ea for 2 and screen captured the transaction. A week later I had no confirmation, no product delivered, and when I logged onto the official WAYFAIR site, there was no record of the transaction. I reported it as fraud to my credit union and had new debit and credit cards issued. When I call the phone number that shows up for the transaction noted as ROMORYXMSUSD 562-351-6581, I just hear " The person you are calling cannot accept calls at this time. We're sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Wayfair Scam

During my attempt to order a light-up make up vanity for my friends daughter for Christmas, apparently a scam company used a Wayfair look alike website, but I never received a follow up email, tracking information, or anything.
It appeared on my bank account as Romoryxmsusd with phone number 562-351-6581 for $49.90 (the 'Black Friday' price).

While trying to get tracking information I saw where the status said "shipped" but that was the end of it.
I am going to dispute the credit card transaction with my bank.

I still want this item. I think my local Home Depot carries it, but their price is $249.00. UGH!

Please let me know if you know of a way to resolve this issue.

This happened to me I ordered on black Friday a shoe rack that closes for my husband and the same charge went on my credit card as well attempting to dispute the charge.

Placed my order believing it was Wayfair I was dealing with. Never received products ordered believe it may be a site mimicking Wayfair now I am out my money and don't have products ordered. Can access order number like actually Wayfair and it says shipped, but again never received. On account it states that it is Romoryxwsusd who took the money from my account not Wayfair.

I compared with another Wayfair site 11/18/24- everything the same, (about, contact info, company history, policies, “trusted” verification, etc…so I assumed it was Black Friday special page. Day deliver due I checked and said it was shipped. 11/25 began getting texts from bank re: attempted charges - 5 attempts for Facebook purchase of $159.+ . Bank denied purchases. I cancelled credit card and filed dispute over original charge. When I tried to access website, I could not login under my name. The site was still up but all the information had changed and there was no phone number, email - no way to contact them. Bank is investigating but do not have final report from them.

I ordered a dresser from Wayfair, and apparently I was on a scam website. The charges that came through on my credit card were to: ROMORYXWSUSD, I have included the charge on my credit card account and a picture of my internet history. When I went to check on the dimension of the dresser today, there were no orders on my account.

They used a wayfair look alike website but I went back and looked and the website was not the wayfair site. I paid $56.98 for a dresser and didn't receive it.

I used a Facebook ad from a website posing as Wayfair. It looked like the Wayfair website so I trusted it. I paid 25.68 . The site got all of my information . My card info and address. It took the money out right after purchase then I received an confirmation email with a supposed tracking number . When I clicked on the tracking number it couldn't find the page. Then I noticed that the email wasn't from Wayfair customer service. It was from service @vip.shopconfirmation.com

I froze my account and sent for another card and reported this incident to my cardholder and bank. But they also have my address, email ,and phone number. They had a whole website that looked exactly like wayfair and had things cut down in price in a spring savings sale. It was a Wayfair site . Then I downloaded the Wayfair app to compare prices and the Wayfair app did t have a sale on that item and it was 100's of dollar more than the price I paid. That is beyond concerning and terrifying in itself. What a nightmare!

Was on Wayfair and ordered stuff and Dotcom products, American companies and it showed other products and I clicked on it and ordered it thinking it was part of the American company and then I got a tracking information from China and I knew I wouldn’t get it until after Christmas. I kept checking the tracking and it said I would get it delivered December 27 on that day I got a tiny cheap rubber keychain from Africa that said baby and the customs form said it was clothing for $12.00.
