Received letter stating "final Attempt to Renew" for a warranty for my car. Stated I attempted to renew coverage on 1--20-26 which I never contacted anyone regarding a warranty. Wanted me to call now to activate the identification card that was enclosed. On bottom of letter stated PPG is an independent company who provides extended service protection plant on behalf of lending third party administrators.

I received a card in Postal Mail Warranty Replacement Notice from Homeowner Protection Division notifying me that my Mechanical Systems Warranty was expiring in two weeks and to call them immediately at +1-888-413-5452. This card looked all sorts of suspicious. I did not call! Instead, I Google Searched "Homeowner Protection Division". That resulted in the Better Business Bureau saying it was a scam, and to tear up the card and forget it. Lease beware and DO NOT fall for this scam!

- Edmond, OK, USA • Apr 30, 2025

An unmarked company sent mail to my address called Home Warranty Division. It just said that I needed to replace my home warranty. Firstly, it was in my first name with my incorrect last name( I was divorced 2 years ago) and sent to the house I live in, but my mother owns and already has insurance and warranty coverage on. It had no other pertinent information other than seemed to try to encourage someone to call the number listed, it gave hours listed to call and no address for the business. It also said to "register for continued protection".

- Lodi, OH, USA

I received a letter in the mail signed by Wade Grant Progrm Director 888-404-4504. The letter says my home warranty will expire. I called my insurance agent, adn he said my policy is not expiring, and teh letter is a scam. So I am reporting the letter to warn others.

- Chicago, IL, USA

I received a very official looking postcard with " County Deed Records, Home Warranty Division" in prominent letters. It had a fake Registration ID and PIN number along with a phone number in order to extend my "Warranty of Protection" that supposedly expires. In tiny print is the name of the company sending me the notice of expiration: 4EverHome USA, LLC.

The card reads, "Dear (me) This is your Warranty Replacement notice advising you to contact our offices so you do not have a lapse in coverage for all available covered components." Many people may think this is an official notice from the County when it is merely a solicitation.

- Atlanta, GA, USA

For about the last 7 days I received daily calls about 15 calls per day from various numbers starting with 470-200-xxxx. When they say something they are calling they speak my name and then they say they're from a warranty calling about a warranty. I have made several requests over the last several days of these calls to advise them to stop calling me the minute I hang up with them the next person calls these calls I have blocked on my phone and at this point I am no longer answering the calls unless they are in my phone but I am tired of the constant calls and this all stems from I think when I started following someone on Facebook so I am trying to remove that request in hopes that the calls will stop but I am unsure at this point.

470-200-7986, 470-200-7909, 470-200-7847, 470-200-7907, 470-200-7922, 470-200-7922, 470-683-7060, 470-450-7304, 470-200-8091, 678-671-4485. Just some of the numbers used.
