- Uhrichsville, OH, USA • Aug 26, 2026

Received a Final Notice in the mail. It looked official, and I just purchased a car 6 months prior, so I was very worried something was wrong. When I couldn't find an official company name, for example the dealership I got my car, I reconsidered if it was official. Almost anything important will give you more info about themselves. Usually see a specific company name, website, fax, phone, address etc. Then luckily I searched on the Internet and found someone who had the same issue and it was a scam. I'm thankful I could search the Internet and find the ScamPulse.com story. Shredded the letter.

There was no business name. Letter said if I don’t respond, I’ll lose coverage on my vehicle. Has the name Jeff Morton, Program Coordinator. And the assigned dept says: Approval Division. I have been getting letters since I purchased my vehicle. How are people able to steal your information like this.

- Nanty Glo, PA, USA • Apr 06, 2026

I received a letter requesting that I contact the phone number included in this report so that I could update my "home warranty" to "avoid any unnecessary delays in your coverage". I contacted the First Commonwealth Bank in Ebensburg to confirm it was a scam and they did confirm.

- Ellwood City, PA, USA • Jan 29, 2026

Received letter stating "final Attempt to Renew" for a warranty for my car. Stated I attempted to renew coverage on 1--20-26 which I never contacted anyone regarding a warranty. Wanted me to call now to activate the identification card that was enclosed. On bottom of letter stated PPG is an independent company who provides extended service protection plant on behalf of lending third party administrators.

- Stillwater, OK, USA • Oct 07, 2025

I received a card in Postal Mail Warranty Replacement Notice from Homeowner Protection Division notifying me that my Mechanical Systems Warranty was expiring in two weeks and to call them immediately at +1-888-413-5452. This card looked all sorts of suspicious. I did not call! Instead, I Google Searched "Homeowner Protection Division". That resulted in the Better Business Bureau saying it was a scam, and to tear up the card and forget it. Lease beware and DO NOT fall for this scam!

- Ravenna, OH, USA

- Edmond, OK, USA

An unmarked company sent mail to my address called Home Warranty Division. It just said that I needed to replace my home warranty. Firstly, it was in my first name with my incorrect last name( I was divorced 2 years ago) and sent to the house I live in, but my mother owns and already has insurance and warranty coverage on. It had no other pertinent information other than seemed to try to encourage someone to call the number listed, it gave hours listed to call and no address for the business. It also said to "register for continued protection".

- Lodi, OH, USA

I received a letter in the mail signed by Wade Grant Progrm Director 888-404-4504. The letter says my home warranty will expire. I called my insurance agent, adn he said my policy is not expiring, and teh letter is a scam. So I am reporting the letter to warn others.

- Chicago, IL, USA

I received a very official looking postcard with " County Deed Records, Home Warranty Division" in prominent letters. It had a fake Registration ID and PIN number along with a phone number in order to extend my "Warranty of Protection" that supposedly expires. In tiny print is the name of the company sending me the notice of expiration: 4EverHome USA, LLC.

The card reads, "Dear (me) This is your Warranty Replacement notice advising you to contact our offices so you do not have a lapse in coverage for all available covered components." Many people may think this is an official notice from the County when it is merely a solicitation.

- Tampa, FL, USA

A letter was received in the mail that stated "IMMEDIATE RESPONSE REQUESTED" and was targeting a cars warranty not being activated and/or expiring. There was no identifying information in the letter about the scammer aside from a number to call to contact about the warranty.
