I published my resume on a website called Career Builder (https://www.careerbuilder.com) and received multiple job offers. One is from VNG AG, based on the company website it is in Germany. They sent me a job offer and scheduled an interview which was through zoom messenger, the hiring manager provided me an interview and stated I was hired within the same day. I think they use real people within the company to not look suspicious because I looked up the company website and the individual person on linked in. After she said I was hired she informed me of a check being sent to my address to purchase my materials for my "job", she was really persistent on me depositing the check into my account. When I received the check it was from a bank in Florida. I received another job offer and informed them and instead of advising what to do they simply blocked me on Zoom which is when I realized it was a scam.
