Individual contacted me and asked that I download telegram. I figured it was to set up a job interview, but instead they did the interview over text. They offered me a data entry job for 35/hr which seemed to good to be true. They also stated they operated in California but instead of being on pacific time, they were in central time, which was out of place. Also, they mentioned their ceo and their name and it wasn’t the same person as listed on LinkedIn. They stated they were going to send me a check to purchase equipment which was odd because normal companies purchase the equipment and then send it. The individual also had really bad English while conversing via text. I did some looking online and there were people who had gone through the exact same thing and got scammed once they cashed the check given to them. Same company and everything. The check has not arrived for me and if it does, I will take to local authorities.

Asked to download Telegram. Did so and ensued a conversation with Micheal Koch age 47 supposed personnel manager of Vline Pharma Inc. offered $35 per hour for online customer service/data entry job. Asked for bank name - was specific to state not bank information. Also wanted name, address and phone number. Did not answer my questions about the role, only that it was monday to friday 8am to 4pm and paid $35 per hour. It was quite odd. I am supposed to be back on Telegram in the morning for my "training". Did mention they were sending a check for equipment....obviously after checking out on ScamPulse.com know for sure that it is a scam. Don't understand what they're after but obviously up to no good

Yesterday morning, I was contacted by Vline Pharma about a job opportunity. I was contacted by email through a personal Gmail account and then by text from a different person. I was told "Dear Applicant This letter is in regard to your resume that was forwarded to the company for Customer Service Rep/Data Entry Clerk Position. .The Hiring Desk has reviewed your resume for the Position and we believe you have the required qualifications to proceed."

I was told to download the Telegram app and to reach out to their HR Manager, who would be conducting my interview through text messages. I found this odd, but it's 2023 so I thought maybe they were just trying to modernize. The tone the interviewer was using was less professional than I am used to from HR. She asked me a series of questions about my job experiences and qualifications and to respond "DONE" after reading each paragraph she sent.

I was informed that this would be a permanent work from home position starting at 28/hr (the email said 30) with a flex schedule and full benefits, and that they would provide me with everything I would need for a home office. After the questions, she stepped away for a moment to consult with her boss, returned and told me I had scored "above average" on their questions and they wanted to offer me the job. She then immediately asked me for my home address and my bank name so they could make sure my bank accepted direct deposit.

I asked if I could pause to consider the offer before accepting and that's when I did my research. I asked how she received my resume. She said Indeed, which is odd because they're not on Indeed or Glassdoor, and my resume is not public on Indeed. She was also very pushy about whether or not I was interested in the position.

This company has a website but the two separate phone numbers I found do not connect to a real business, the address listed on the website shows a For Sale building on Google Maps, and the link to their nonexistent Facebook page is fake. When I asked the interviewer if I could speak to her over the phone and brought up these concerns, she stopped responding to my messages. Their Help Chat function on the website responded the same. Everyone please beware of these people. I'm just glad I didn't give them any of my personal info

I received a text with a job offer advising me to contact the HR representative by the name of David Brown on 11/10/22. I contacted David via Skype, went through a text interview and was offered a job. I was asked for my address and confirmed my email address where the offer letter was emailed with a check in the amount of 1300+ for me to purchase my work equipment. I did a mobile deposit as instructed but the funds were immediately placed in hold. Meanwhile, this person I continued to speak with kept asking about the funds and once available I would pay a vendor for my equipment. Day 2 he asked me to send proof that I deposited the check. I only sent a snippet of the transaction so my personal banking info would not be visible. He asked me to pay for the equipment with my funds which I declined to do. Each day he's contacted me about the funds availability. Today I didn't hear from him and guess what? The check was not valid. Don't allow these scammers to get your information. I hope this helps someone else. Attached is a screen pront of the Skype profile info.
