Loan approval

Said I had been approved for loan with them stated deposit some money on my bank account. The had me go get a bank card at Walmart. Making my bank account go on hold. Having to close my account. And then never having a straight answer as to when the the checks would clear.

Complete scam!

This company contacted me after I submitted a loan application to a loan search clearinghouse. They promised direct deposit of funds which never occurred. I had researched the company immediately after their promised deposit and was not surprised to find: 1) There is no such company listed with Illinois Secretary of State 2) The real Vista Loans is a mortgage company in CA and they have posted a warning about this scam company on their website 3) There is no website for Vista Loans LLC although the company gives an incomplete web address of vistaloans.co when questioned about it during a phone call and provided a screenshot of their web page 4) They give 2 phone numbers, neither of which is traceable and do not give a physical address 5) require a link to your bank account in order to deposit funds even though being advised that only the routing and account numbers are necessary for a deposit 6) in alternative offer payment through Western Union with a fee of $199.

Hi Kyle, I am very sorry to hear what happened to you. Just this morning we have been receiving phone calls from victims of this scam. Vista Loans is a mortgage company that only does real estate loans (residential mortgages) in the state of California. There are scammers using our company name to offer personal loans. Our company has no involvement with personal loans. I just filed a report with the FBI regarding these reports. Please make sure you file a police report and I recommend filing a report with the FBI as well. I also recommend contacting all financial institutions that were involved with this scam to let them know, so they can cancel/freeze any fraudulent transactions. You can also call each credit bureau (Equifax, Experian, and Transunion) to freeze your credit so you can prevent further damage from these scammers.

Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

I was looking for a loan so I can pay my utilities, the company promised guaranteed approval with bad credit accepted. They told me for a verification ID I had to go buy a prepaid card and they sent me money to deposit the funds into a walmart money card. I didn’t think anything of it until they called me the next day saying I had to put more money on two separate cards and they were going to send me about $1000 or more and it was going to help raise my credit for a couple of minutes so I can get the money faster and that’s whenever I realized it was a scam. They had me go buy the cards and take pictures of the receipts and the cards and send it to them.
