Please don’t entertain block the moment you see an unknown number asking for your name, so this happened after a post on indeed that was for the file clerk remote position this was the only place I had given my resume to. They act like they are legit after noticing that this was a complete scam. They used Google hangouts what they do is collect people’s names to attach it by your phone number and address and tries to ask you what bank are you affiliated with to send you a check for equipment. They were supposedly women. They first Text stating “hello I believe is this is______ then you name” going to say that they are Mrs Kendra Johnson from vista investment group!, then then tell you about the The resume you uploaded only place was indeed i red flagged indeed and let them know then they go and ask you to continue the interview process via Google hangouts with someone name Jeannie Lopez in which I can assume it’s from people names they get off of resumes. They are committing crimes by using legal business to push their fraudulent checks I immediately blocked and reported the information. The numbers they call from are from Washington state (360) area codes etc. beware! It’s a SCAM

I applied for this at home position for Vista Investment Group as a call center agent. They told me the pay was 37.17 dollars an hour plus benefits. They told me that I would have to get all this hardware and software and that they would be sending me a check in the mail to cash for my materials. I got a bad feeling about the entire situation and decided to call the actual company and they told me that it was a scam and that they are working with law enforcement and with indeed to stop them.

Was contacted via email with a job offer and given an email address to contact for a Google Hangouts interview. I sent a message to the email address and the person was extremely rude and impatient and when I told them I wasn't able to speak with them on the phone (i was at work) they immediately blocked me.

I've been looking for a work from home data entry job and I was emailed saying that Vista Investment Group wanted to interview me. They sent me an email address to message on Google Hangouts and I was "interviewed" by text and offered the job saying they'd send me a check the following day to pay for the office supplies. I looked them up here and couldn't find them so I found them on Google and called about it. They woman who answered told me the job offer is a scam. I then messaged the woman who interviewed me asking about the encounter and she blocked me immediately.
