Someone called me from Verizon and said he was from the fraudulent department. He said they showed two iPhone 16 pro max and an iPad trying to be purchased from an IP address with an address in Cleveland. Gave name of individual purchasing. I asked several times to prove he was from Verizon. he could only give me info on my name and cell phone number. He said I need to temporary change my password so they could watch the activity. He send me a text message with a link. Looks just like Verizon's text to authenticate account. As he was trying to generate the password, I called the number he was calling from on the landline. It said the number was out of service. I called it twice. I then hung up. Called Verizon and they did not seem the list bit concern and he said my account was ok.
