Phone call came from phone number (719) 299-0405.
Gave the caller an outrage price, exponentially above market value, and he ask (‘Jack’) asked if I had an other property I would like to sell.
Asked ‘Jack’ how he had my information, name, address, and phone number, all of which he had. ‘Jack’ told me his company was buying homes in the area and got the information from public record.
This is either a scam where payment is not real, or a scam to buy property below market value to make a profit at the expense of people in difficult financial situations.
Call came from Colorado number, but a quick search showed that the supposed company is based in Florida with no offices in Colorado.
