The caller repeatedly asked, “can you hear me,”. Another voice on the line told them to call me back, when I did not respond. They called back asking me if I would take a call from prison. They were trying to get me to say, “yes” so they could record it and use it to collect financial information. They also knew my family members name and asked me how they were doing. I later read online this was a scam called, “can you hear me.”

This person called. I answered because I was expecting a call from San Antonio. There was a lot of background noise and a lady said, "Dawn?" I answered yes, because I was expecting a call and thought this was it. Once I said yes, she hung up. I immediately called my bank and put my account on Fraud alert as well as contacting my phone company. To the best of my knowledge, these are the only things I have. But I read online I should also report this to you.

I get these calls all the time on my cellphone & I know not to answer "yes" when they ask if I can hear them alright but I thought I was my daughter calling & accidentally said yes so now I'm worried that I will somehow be getting fraudulent charges now. I haven't lost any money yet but it just happened. I don't know if the call would've requested money some other way because I hung up as soon as I realized it was a robo call.

Called and said that I was eligible for a grant which does not have to be repaid, is that okay? I said - "Yeah? What is the grant for? However, they hung up immediately after I said "yeah?"

This just occurred but I knew immediately when they hung up it was a scam. Unsure of the consequences of this scam as it is too early to tell.

The call came from 'No Caller ID' so I did not answer the first two calls. They called a third time and thinking that it could be something important I answered. The person said "Can you hear me" to which I said "yes who is this?" They said can you hear me again and I said yes who is this? They said it again and I said yes to which they said then why are you confused? I asked who it was again and then I hung up. They called again and I did not answer. They then called another time and I picked up again to try and understand who this person was. They again said "can you hear me" and I said yes who is this? They said "did I wake someone sleeping?" and I said yes and hung up.
