Received email on 5/12/2021 from a Tim Sauerwein at USTA confirming my purchase order was $219, a $10 delivery charge and $5.00 sales tax. Total purchase $234.00. Gave order refererence # 7YUIDD. Will take 1 day for transaction to appear in in my account.

I called phone # above from house phone & connected to a very muffled phone call with a foreigner's voice. He said it was something I ordered for my computer hard drive. I asked him for his office location, he said it was in NYC, I said the address on email is for office is in Columbus OH. I told him I never ordered anything for my computer hard drive and it was obviously a scam. Hung up on him at that point.

Received an email that I was being charged $212. I called to find out what this was for. They said it was for the computer protection. I asked them which software it was for. They said they didn't sell software. I asked them what service they were providing. They yelled at me at told me to quit interrupting them. Tried to get me to go on my computer to activate some cancellation code. When I refused, they hung up on me. I called back and got exactly the same treatment. This place is fraudulent and they have on their emails that they are A+ on BBB. I doubt that seriously.

I received and email this morning, order confirmation for over $200 dollars. I did not order anything and called the number provided to find out details and cancel. I was asked to go to my computer to process cancellation. I refused to do so asking for details. Details were not provided and rep. hang up the phone.

On 04.30.2021 @ 11.07 am I received an email from [email protected] name Mary Blake associated with USTA United States Technical Associates. The email give me a reference number and advised I purchased something doesn't state what for $219.00 with a $10.00 delivery + handling fee and $5.00 for sales tax totaling $234.00 estimated to be delivered on 04.30.2021. I contact the number provided 229.518.4525 the first rep which has a heavy accent hung up on me when I advised him I was not going to be put on hold while he tried to come up with some sort of item. I called back and was advised I purchased software for my computer, I advised the gentleman I did not and when I advised if any payments come out of my accounts I would be cancelling them he advised he would contact the FBI. I advised him he could do as he please as I was not the one trying to scam people, he hung up.

Got an email today with a reference number stating I will have an automatic renewal of my membership for 199.00 with $10.00 S & H and $5.00 tax for a total of 214.00. I have never done business with this company. I called the number they provided and stated for the cancellation number to be given I need to be on my personal computer. Reading all the previous complaints, I believe this is a scam and I will NOT give them access to my computer. Shut them down.

I received the same email as listed above this morning. I can't copy and paste it but the wording is very similar. I called the number in the body of the email and was placed on hold in queue to speak with someone about the "transaction". I was prompted to leave a callback number and told that an agent would call me back. Nobody called back.

I did call the number listed and the rep asked for my email address and said I had ordered computer technical service back in 2018. I said, I don't recall ever asking for technical support. He then proceeded to ask me to go to my computer and asked If I used Google, Chrome etc. I said I don't see what internet browser I use has to do with a $214 charge. I asked him to let me know which card was charged and he could not provide me that information then hung up. I am calling my bank to notify them of any charges that might come through.

Please be careful and do not give any personal information to these scammers!

Type of a scam: Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

I received an email notification about "Thank you for your order!" The email looks legit however since I know I didn't order anything using that particular email, I researched my accounts to verify that no funds were missing. The email states that you have 24 hours to cancel or change the order and to "Please call".

So, after researching and checking with BBB, I called the number listed. I told him that I did not order their services. He apologized and said he would help me put the charges back on my card. Tricky, tricky!

Needless to say, He did not get any of my information - but I feel sorry people that don't know how to spot a scam, con job, or phishing expedition.

Received email email stating that I placed an order. When I called to find out what the order was they said it was some thing to guard my computer. I stated I made no such order and they requested that I go and log into the computer. I don’t have a computer and there’s been fraudulent activity and the guy hung up on me. I called back and the guy got really aggressive and just said I’ll cancel your order and you couldn’t give me any detailed information on the order itself or the information used to place the order.

This company said I had made a purchase totaling $214.00. When I called them they said that I had made that purchase, but did not request any information in regards to the invoice, my personal information, or payment information. When I asked to speak to a manager, “Alice”, from India, said they were not available. This is a scam and I am concerned that these people may get my information somehow.

Estimated Delivery Date of 10-04-2021. and instructions to print this email in a safe place for future reference and that Items purchased can only be modified or cancelled within 24 hours of the transaction. Please call us on 650-206-2625 for any such changes. After doing some investigating I found this to be a phising exercise to get access to my computer and financial accounts. I made a report of this notification email before deliting the email... DO NOT RESPOND/REPLY TO IT!

I got the same email with all the same information including order number. The address for this email is actually a Walmart in Massachusetts. This is definitely a scam. So glad I found these posts to help confirm this.

Received an email about a 214.00 renewal for a computer technology service. They said they were a computer technology service for a new computer that I purchased. I told them I didn't own a computer and they hung up. Called back 2x and the same thing happened.
