Type of a scam Online Purchase

Bait and Switch

This company engages in false advertising. They advertised sequined rainbow jacket, and used pictures of the jacket Kamala Harris wore during Pride Month. The jacket was made of denim and had real sequins in all of the pictures. The item I received was cheap polyester with printed stripes and no sequins. I paid $80.00 for this jacket. When I complained, they offered me $2.00 and then $4.00. When I filed a complaint with PayPal, they offered me $16.00. When I didn't accept that, they said I could return it if I sent it back and paid shipping. Of course, they are in China and it would have cost as much to ship it as the item cost. The first picture is one from the website. The second is the one that I received. I will chalk this up to an $80.00 lesson.
