Travel Exhibit 2024 Reports & Reviews – Page 3 (72)

Recieved same letter as previous posts

Offer of travel, hotel and restaurant vouchers to listen to 1 hour promotion of Travel Exhibit 2024 at Holiday Inn, Naperville. Per them, no asking for money, etc.

- Glen Ellyn, IL, USA

A letter was sent to us at our home. It looked quite legit but I checked it out because it had no date listed for this supposed Travel Exhibit 2024 or site.

Also it sounded too good to be true

Solicitation to attend a tourism and travel showcase to receive two round trip airline vouchers PLUS two (2) night's stay at any Marriott Hilton or Hyatt hotel worth up to $980.00.

- Vernon Hills, IL, USA

Received postal mail inferring connection to major travel providers (Southwest, United, Frontier, Marriott, Embassy Suites) offering indeterminate, but about $2000-3000 flight/hotel/stipend to attend a travel promotion event. Pressures one to respond within 2 days or lose out. I did not call - looked for the event online and noted missing location timing and contact information on the invitation and event - only the one 855 phone number present.

- Chattanooga, TN, USA

Letter received, offering free airline vouchers and 2 nights stay. The airlines listed do not serve my area, so that was a clue that this was a scam.

Thanks for other reports, which confirms that this is a waste of time.

Received in mail. Letter had perforated sides you tear open. Letter was received within days after I was researching travel plans on Expedia and Travelocity sites

just received the mailer, thought I would look up the name Travel Exhibit 2024 online. Found this site from the BBB. It's interesting because " Rich Allen" lists Southwest Airlies, United Air and Frontier Along with Hilton hotel chain. If I am one of those companies, I would have the law putting great effort into finding the scammers. Their reputations are at stake.

- Skokie, IL, USA

Identical to the other person's report, except four months later. Offer to attend "Travel Exhibit 2024" and be given two round trip airfare vouchers; two nights stay at a Marriott, Hilton, or Hyatt; and $100 dining savings BONUS if I'm one of the first 50 callers. Autopen signature "Rich Allen. A typical "too good to be true" scam.

- Hastings, MN, USA

Received a flyer from Embassy Suites by Hilton in the mail titled travel exhibit 2024 to fly on Southwest United or Frontier. Two free nights at Marriott Hilton or Hyatt plus $100 meal voucher.

- Renton, WA, USA

Received letter in the mail offering vouchers for air travel and hotels. First 50 callers receive $100.00 dining savings card. Rich Allen Travel Exhibit 2024

Offered two travel vouchers, two nights at Marriott Hotels and dinner vouchers for attending an hour presentation not for time share or real estate sales. The inference is you will walk away from the presentation with all items promised. Upon an internet search I found numerous reports of people having to pay to obtain flight vouchers and never receiving them. I called Marriott Hotels customer service ( because their logo was used in the letter) and was told they know nothing about this company and are not involved with a promotion of this type.

The scammer sends a letter that offers airfare and hotel for two nights in exchange for attending Travel Exhibit 2024. When you call they want to sign you up for an event where you can pick up your vouchers. The letter includes a number that is used to claim your award -- presumably that number is tied to your name and mailing address. They also ask for your city and a phone number they can text. I declined the number and they said they would e-mail, but did not ask for an email address -- don't know if that was a mistake or if it means they already have an e-mail address.

Claims to be jntended to "get Ameriva traveling again" GATA? Proposes to host party of two with a 60 minute presentation in exchange for (2) two complementary airline vouchers, as well as (2) two night at a chain hotel. Agent then tries to "upsell" the package for higher than retail prices.

Received this Travel offer in the mail. Did some Internet research and determine that it’s a scam. We did not respond, of course.
