I just contacted them and said I knew this wasn't Hilton after they began their sales pitch. I told them I was a Hilton Grand Vacation member and I knew they were scamming. They hung up on me. I just wanted you all to know they were in Nevada as well.

Scam did not occur due to informed target. This is to report an attempt. Scam was to attend "Travel Exhibit 2024" with a gift of two complimentary round trip tickets anywhere in the US plus two night stay. A phone number is provided to call and no location or time of event is described. Person claimed to be called Brooke Saward.

We received a travel exhibit 2024 mailer that promised to round-trip airline vouchers and two nights at hotel up to $980 at Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt. In exchange for a 60-minute of a presentation. Also $100 dinner voucher was promised to the first 50 attendees or people to respond. Claim number was abq ***. They used my maiden name at my married address. Appears to be a scam.

- Tyler, TX, USA

Mis-spelled name on front; flyer advertising for the Travel Exhibit 2024. Says they will give vouchers and meal coupons in exchange for watching a presentation. No date or location given. No website or email address. Just a phone number and told to give the claim number TTX603.

I just received a "PERSONAL AND CONFIDENTIAL" folded mailer that was partially "sealed" on the sides, but the content was clearly visible to anyone handling the piece. It was addressed to me by my full name and invited me and my spouse to attend "Travel Exhibit 2024" - a "fun filled tourism and travel showcase attempting to get America traveling again." It offered (2) complimentary round trip airline vouchers in exchange for attendance. In addition, it said, "you will receive (2) nights at one of over 1000 Marriott's, Hilton's, or Hyatt's" with a retail value up to $980.

Not only did they associate themselves with Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt, they listed Southwest, United, and Frontier at the top of the mailer (although they did not say Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, or Frontier Airlines). In addition, they noted, "Bonus: The first 50 callers will receive $100 dining savings card good at restaurants like TGI Fridays, Black Angus Steakhouse, Bar Louie, and many more." I was warned that this was my "final notice" (in bold).

This mailer was signed "Rich Allen, Travel Exhibit 2024, 1-855-549-0722".

Seemed fishy so I looked up "Travel Exhibit 2024 Rich Allen" and found several scam alerts. I don't know how many of these ended up in mailboxes in my area (63122).
